Has "Lighthouse" Christian Store changed its name to "Parable" Christian Store?
No, Lighthouse is independently owned. Being a "Parable" store means that we are part of an association of independent retailers working together to provide shoppers with better products and services.

What are your store hours?
All of our locations are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday - Thursday and Saturday. Fridays we are open 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Where are each of your stores located?
We have stores in Long Beach, Orange, and Pasadena.

Is there a pastors (ministers) discount?
Yes, we offer a Pastors Discount card to all local, full-time paid ministers.

Are there discounts for seminary students?
No, there are no discounts for seminary students.

What discounts are available?
Discounts are given to customers who are purchasing 10 or more of the exact same item costing $3.00 or more, or for churches who are buying for the church library only.

Is there a discount for Missionaries?
Yes, there is a 20% discount available for foreign (overseas) missionaries only.

What is your returns policy?
All items are returnable, (unless otherwise noted) as long as the item is still in re-sellable condition and with its original packaging. This also applies to opened music. Software is non-returnable; an exchange for the exact same item can be made only if it is defective. Please be sure the software is what you want and that your computer is compatible before you purchase.

If I buy an item from one Lighthouse location, can I return it at a different Lighthouse?
Yes, provided the item being returned is in re-sellable condition and is an item we carry as part of our normal stock.

Do I have to have a receipt to return an item?
No, a receipt is not required if you received it as a gift or if you intend to exchange it for an item we have in stock. A receipt is required for all returns involving cash or credit being given to a customer.

Why are the prices on your on-line shopping different than the prices on the same products in your stores?
Our on-line shopping is offered in conjunction with the Parable Group. They handle all aspects of your order(s) from taking to shipping of your item(s). Because they maintain that portion of our site they determine what products and what prices to offer to on-line customers.

How can I check to see if I'm still on your list?
E-mail us with your name and mailing address and we will gladly check for you and let you know with an e-mail reply.

Why have I not received any mailings from you?
There could be several reasons as to why you are not getting any mailings. The Post Office may not be not delivering them to you. Another possible explanation is that if you live in an area that shares a common mail box drop-off the postal worker may not be placing them in your box, but leaving a batch outside for anyone to take.
